When you register to use the Alert4Pets.com website we need to know your name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, and details of the pet to which the Alert4Pets identification tag relates, including species, breed, sex and name.
We gather this information to allow us to process your registration, process any orders you may make and provide lost pet alerts, finder details and other services as advertised as part of the subscription package you select. The relevant information will then be used by us, our agents and sub-contractors to provide you with statements of your account and to communicate with you on any matter relating to the conduct of your account and the provision of the services in general.
We may also use aggregate information and statistics for the purposes of monitoring website usage in order to help us develop the website and our services and may provide such aggregate information to third parties. When you enter your card details to pay for a subscription purchase, the details are entered into a secure server operated by our card processing partner. Furthermore, as required by the UK Data Protection Legislation, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we are able to disclose sensitive information to you.
We also keep your information confidential. The internal procedures of Alert4 Limited cover the storage, access and disclosure of your information.
4 Sale of business
If this business is sold or integrated with another business your details may be disclosed to our advisers and any prospective purchasers and their advisers and will be passed on to the new owners of the business.
5 Updating your details
If any of the information that you have provided to Alert4 Limited changes you have the ability to amend these details yourself as part of your account. Alert4 Limited is not responsible for making any of these changes.

When you register and an account is created for you to use the Alert4Pets site, you will be asked to chose a username and password which may be changed by you at any subsequent time. You must keep this password confidential and must not disclose it or share it with anyone. You will be responsible for all activities that occur or that are submitted under your account. We will also e-mail you should we make any changes so that you may consent to our use of your information in that way. Continued use of the service will signify that you agree to any such changes.
